The CEDAS conference will be held as a hybrid event. Local participants with a valid on-site registration will be meeting physically at Scandic Bergen City, and national and international participants will join us remotely.
During the event, on-site participants will be assigned seats. Please make yourself known at the registration desk on BOTH Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference (even if you are attending both days and have already registered the day before). The registration desk will be manned as follows: Day 1 (1 June 2021) – 11 am until 2 pm. Day 2 (2 June 2021) – 8.30 am until 10.30 am. If you arrive outside of those times, please contact the hotel staff and a member of UiB’s conference organizing team.
The conference will be live-streamed, including the digital poster session, but excluding the on-site poster session. The stream and live chat will only be available for registered conference participants. The conference will also be recorded for internal documentation of the event. Any future public usage of this footage or online publishing of the footage, can only happen with prior written consent from the presenters and participants. If you object to the future usage of the footage, then please inform UiB’s conference organizing team latest by 3 June 2021.
The digital poster session will be held on Discord and is only available for registered conference participants. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours before the confirmation email to access Discord arrives in your inbox. We therefore encourage you to sign up to Discord at least one day before the conference.
The streaming and Discord links will be sent to registered participants a few days before the conference.
